Chicago, Leafleting at Chicago Thanksgiving Day ParadeThursday, November 27, 2014

Every year over 300 million turkeys are killed in the United States, with 46 million slaughtered for Thanksgiving alone. Please join us as we leaflet the crowds attending the Chicago Thanksgiving Day Parade. By educating the public about animals suffering on factory farms, we can inspire others to spare thousands, if not millions, of animals and ultimately create a more compassionate society.

If this is your first time leafleting, you can keep it at whatever level you wish. You can jump right in and secure your own street corner, or you can leaflet directly with one of the experienced members until you feel comfortable. Look for Brian, who will be wearing a Mercy For Animals messenger bag.

For more information on this event, please email Brian Pietrzycki, Chicago outreach coordinator, or call 773-368-1043. An RSVP is not required, but it will help us determine the correct number of leaflets to bring. We will also notify you if we have to cancel the event due to bad weather.

Where: Corner of State St. and Randolph St., Chicago, IL
When: Thursday, November 27, 2014 at 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.
