Chicago, Leafleting at Harold Washington LibraryFriday, August 22, 2014

The average vegetarian spares about 31 farmed animals each year (not to mention many more wild fish and shellfish), adding up to hundreds in a lifetime. Research has shown leafleting to be very effective at inspiring people to go vegetarian or to reduce their consumption of animal products. By educating the public about factory farming and veg eating, you can personally spare thousands of animals from a lifetime of misery.

If this is your first time leafleting, don’t worry! You can leaflet right next to one of the more experienced leafleters, who will guide you through the process and help make it fun and effective. Stay for as long or as short a time as you like. Look for Rosie Fitz, who will be wearing a Mercy For Animals messenger bag.

For more information on this event, please email Rosie Fitz, Chicago campaign assistant, or call 312-402-1690. An RSVP is not required, but it will help us determine the correct number of leaflets to bring. We will also notify you if we have to cancel the event due to bad weather.
