What will your legacy be?

Your legacy begins today.

It begins with your vision of a future world—one in which animals are respected, protected, and free.

We’re making tremendous impacts for animals abused in our food system, but we need your continued support to make our shared vision a reality.

Planned gifts to Mercy For Animals enshrine some of the most important decisions you’ll ever make—how you will memorialize your lifetime of compassion or honor the lives of others who have impacted you.

We would love to welcome you into the community of donors that have made their vision of a brighter future for animals into a lasting legacy.

Ashleyann was passionate about caring for those most in need, including farmed animals. Mercy For Animals’ mission closely aligned with her own, and she chose to continue her work toward a world where animals are respected, protected, and free by including Mercy For Animals in her will.

A lifelong animal lover, Irene made a bequest to Mercy For Animals to further her mission of compassion.

Step 1

By including Mercy For Animals in your will, you’ll continue your vital role in building a compassionate food system well beyond your passing.

Your attorney may consider using the following language:*

“I give, devise, and bequeath to Mercy For Animals, Inc., a nonprofit organization with federal tax identification number 54-2076145, located at 8033 Sunset Blvd., Ste. 864, Los Angeles, CA 90046, the sum of $________ (or describe the real or personal property or portion of the estate) to be used for its general purposes.”

*Please consult your attorney or professional tax advisor to ensure that any planned giving complies with all applicable laws. The sample language above should not be considered legal or tax advice.

Step 2

One of the easiest ways to ensure your legacy for farmed animals is through our partnership with FreeWill.*

FreeWill takes about 20 minutes and enables you to make your vision of a brighter future for farmed animals a reality at no cost to you.

We hope you will use FreeWill to leave a gift to Mercy For Animals, but you are not obliged to do so.

*Please be aware that you will be subject to FreeWill’s policies, rules, and terms.

Step 3
