Exciting Event! Mercy For Animals to Co-Host Virtual Farm Sanctuary Tour

This Saturday, July 11, at 11 a.m. Pacific time, Mercy For Animals will join forces with Charlie’s Acres founder and One to Change the World Society co-chair Tracy Vogt to host a virtual tour of Charlie’s Acres Farm Animal Sanctuary!

Located in Sonoma County, California, Charlie’s Acres is a refuge for farmed animals who have been rescued from the food industry. Some of the animals who call Charlie’s Acres home are a pig named Petunia, a duck called Doris, and a black sheep who goes by Amos.

Tracy will introduce you to some of the many smart, beautiful rescued farmed animals living at the sanctuary. As a bonus, actress Tara Strong will participate in a Q&A at the end of the tour and will share stories about her connection to animals. You will also hear more about the important work of both Charlie’s Acres and Mercy For Animals. Charlie’s Acres describes its mission:
At Charlie’s Acres, we rescue farm animals who were abused or destined for the dinner table. We strive to teach people about the beauty and intelligence of these animals and how to leave them off your plate.
Not only will this event be full of adorable animals and offer insight into the efforts of animal protection groups, but all donations and proceeds from ticket sales will go directly to supporting Mercy For Animals’ vital work.
