The Canadian Food Inspection Agency recently updated the Health of Animals Regulations regarding humane transportation. Mercy For Animals drafted recommendations for these regulations that aligned with animal welfare science and the standards of Canada’s trading partners.

This website contains resources that explain the scientific basis for improving animal transportation in Canada.
