Iconic Band BOSTON Donating Portion of Every Ticket Sold to Mercy For Animals!

Legendary band BOSTON announced it would donate $1 for every ticket sold this year to animal advocacy (venues permitting). Half of the money will go to Mercy For Animals.

BOSTON’s 2017 Hyper Space Tour promises more than 50 gigs and begins on April 14 in Hollywood, Florida, at the Hard Rock Live. BOSTON will welcome Joan Jett & the Blackhearts to shows from June 14 at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California, through July 30 in Bristow, Virginia.

BOSTON’s Tom Scholz and Gary Pihl, along with Joan Jett, are longtime animal rights activists and vegetarians. In fact, Scholz has been vegetarian for almost 40 years! Scholz remarked of Joan Jett in a recent new release, “Not only is she an amazing rock ’n’ roll performing artist, but even more exciting to me is that she is a fellow vegetarian and shares compassion for animal welfare.”

All of us at MFA are so incredibly moved by BOSTON’s generosity, advocacy, and support.
