What Is Circle V, When Is It, and Who’s Playing? Here’s What You Need to Know

If you live in Los Angeles and are plugged into the music or vegan scene, you’ve likely heard about something called Circle V on your social feeds lately—but you might still wonder what exactly Circle V is and what a ticket gets you. Well, get ready to be excited! Circle V is the world’s first and only all-vegan music festival. Back for its second year, the event will take place on Saturday, November 18, at the Regent Theater in downtown Los Angeles and will spotlight phenomenal performers, inspiring speakers, and vegan food galore! Trust us, you’re going to want to be there!

Produced by Mercy For Animals, Spaceland, and musicians and longtime vegan activists Moby and Tony Kanal, Circle V aims to celebrate animal rights and inspire compassion for animals. The best part? A portion of the event’s proceeds will benefit MFA.

You can still purchase tickets to Circle V online, with prices starting at just $35 for general admission. The full VIP treatment runs just $150 (not bad for a seriously packed music and food festival with proceeds that go to charity!), and there are lots of lower-cost options for mid-range tickets.

No matter the ticket level, admission to Circle V will get you access to tons of great music. On the main stage, Circle V will feature a diverse lineup of musicians, with performances by Raury, Reggie Watts, DREAMCAR, Waka Flocka Flame, and Moby. Seeing Moby for only $35? I mean, that’s a deal.

Circle V is also all about food—vegan food, of course! In partnership with the renowned festival Eat Drink Vegan, Circle V will feature an incredible selection of vegan food and beverage vendors, including Ridiculous Baking Co., Little Pine, Donut Farm, Plant Food for People, Mama’s International Tamales, Word Of Mouth Truck, Sage Organic Vegan Bistro, Señoreata, Baby Love Sweetery, Mandoline Grill, Clean South LA, Charlie’s Brownies, Azla Vegan, Donut Friend, Taqueria La Venganza, Yoga-urt, Suncafe, Cup My Cakez, Madame Shugah, Alpha Foods, and Pizzanista.

There will also be a vegan beer garden featuring signature brews from over 20 breweries, including MacLeod Ale Brewing Co., Angel City Brewery, 101 Cider House, Transplants Brewing Company, Baja Brewing Company, Lagunitas Brewing Co., Indie Brewing Company, and Boomtown Brewery. (Someone’s bound to meet their vegan soul mate there. Just sayin’.) A vegan vendor village will also be on hand to sell you all the vegan swag you could want.

As if all that weren’t incentive enough, you’ll also have the chance to learn from a lineup of fascinating speakers and meet your fellow animal allies. This year’s Circle V features more than 30 speakers representing different paths to animal liberation, including activists Nathan Runkle, Marc Ching, and Ingrid Newkirk; vegan athletes Tonya Kay, Dotsie BauschAlexandra Paul, John Lewis (aka Badass Vegan), Kenny Anderson, and Brian Turner; lifestyle gurus Kathy Freston, Genesis Butler, Rich Roll, Simone Reyes, and What the Health’s Kip Andersen; and food entrepreneurs Ethan Brown, Chris Kerr, and Miyoko Schinner.

All ages are welcome (except in the beer garden, that is), so don’t wait to purchase your tickets to this year’s Circle V. It’s going to be a great time for a great cause. There’s hardly a more entertaining way to support MFA, and we can’t wait to see you there!
