Move Over Cupcakes! Vegan Cinnamon Buns Are Taking Over

Sarah Von Alt April 22, 2016
According to a recent article in Eater
San Diego
, the incredibly popular vegan cinnamon bun chain, Cinnaholic,
has set plans for expansion in San Diego and beyond!
“First founded in Berkeley, California in 2009, Cinnaholic
currently has stores in Southlake, Texas and Atlanta, Georgia, with more than
40 franchises in the works; the inaugural San Diego store should roll out in
June, the author explains.
Cinnaholic has made headlines before.
In 2014, after an appearance by founders Florian and Shannon
Radke on Shark Tank, a reality
television program featuring business pitches to potential investors, this
vegan venture received a $200,000 investment.
Now these new franchise opportunities will bring even more delicious
vegan cinnamon buns to the masses!
But Cinnaholic isn’t the only amazing vegan chain with plans
for expansion. Just last week, Veggie Grill, one of the nation’s most
successful all-vegan fast-food chains, announced plans to
expand
to the Midwest and South.
With veganism
on the rise
, mouthwatering vegan versions of traditionally animal-derived
foods are becoming more widely available. It’s never been easier to take a
stand against animal suffering on factory farms.
