Mercy For Animals is a BBB accredited charity. The Better Business Bureau’s mission is to be the leader in advancing marketplace trust.

To receive accreditation, Mercy For Animals met 20 required standards that address four themes: governance, results reports, finances, and truthful and transparent representations.

Mercy For Animals is proud to have earned GuideStar’s Platinum Seal of Transparency for our firm commitment to transparency and accountability.

The platinum seal is the highest recognition offered by GuideStar.

Mercy For Animals was one of the first winners of a 2021 Top-Rated award from GreatNonprofits.

Mercy For Animals is proud to be a 1% for the Planet nonprofit environmental partner. An international organization, 1% for the Planet connects their partners with member businesses that contribute at least 1% of their annual sales to partner organizations.
The Compassion Collective, Mercy For Animals’ leadership-giving program, won first place in the digital communications category of the 2024 ADRP International Stewardship Awards. The award recognizes excellence and outstanding accomplishments in donor relations.

In 2023, The People’s Fund became a silver Anthem Award winner in the diversity, equity, and inclusion category. Mercy For Animals is honored to be recognized for this program’s impact and, most significantly, to promote our grantees’ essential work.
