Aramark, the largest US-based food company, and Campbell’s Soup both recently committed to completely eliminate gestation crates from their pork supply chains. Aramark has committed to this phaseout by 2017 and Campbell’s has committed to a 2022 goal, but hopes to have made progress by 2017.
