Millions of animals are raised on factory farms to be slaughtered for food. They endure grim lives, often never seeing sunlight until they’re on their way to be killed. These farms are crowded and filthy, with floors typically covered in feces and urine. 
These images show the stark difference between animals who were lucky enough to be rescued and those who unfortunately were not.
