The headline sounds like something from the Onion, right? At a recent food safety conference, over 200
people were sickened by their dinners. And the most likely culprit shouldn’t

Safety News, “It was likely contaminated with Clostridium
perfringens (C. perfringens), a spore-forming gram-positive bacterium
commonly found on raw meat and poultry. …
… Those sickened experienced symptoms of diarrhea, stomach
cramps, nausea, headaches, chills, vomiting and fever between April 8-12, 2014.
