List of Cage-Free Egg Companies Grows

Caged egg-laying hens are some of the most abused animals on the planet. They are stuffed into wire cages so small the birds can’t walk, fully spread their wings, or engage in any other natural behaviors. Many birds become trapped and painfully mangled in cage wire or under feed trays and often suffer and die. Caged confinement is one of the cruelest factory farming practices, which is why it’s so important that companies commit to ending the use of cages in their egg supply chains.
