Mad Cow Claims Fourth U.S. Victim

459462981.jpg“Mad cow disease,” or Variant Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease, has claimed the life of a Texas man, raising the total known number of people in the U.S. killed by the disease to four.

While the Texas Department of State Health has announced that this is not a public health concern, it certainly should give people pause. Aside from possibly contracting mad cow, there are many other negative health risks associated with beef consumption.

To help steer clear of disease and safeguard the lives of innocent animals, the best choice is a healthy and humane vegetarian diet. Visit ChooseVeg.com today to learn more.
