Meet Little Nathan! Rescued Piglet Named for MFA’s Founder

Ari Solomon June 23, 2015
An adorable baby piglet got a new lease on life after he was
rescued from a devastating trucking
accident
in Ohio earlier this month.
The piglet, named Nathan after MFA’s president and founder,
is now living the good life at Sunrise Sanctuary.
A truly lucky survivor, Nathan will be able to live out his
life in peace, never again to endure the misery and terror of factory farming.
While Nathan’s story fills us with hope, millions of other
pigs are not as fortunate. Sadly, there is not one single federal law
protecting pigs or other farmed animals during their lives on factory farms.
Most are kept in crammed, filthy spaces and routinely mutilated without
painkillers. And all are violently slaughtered.
We can do our part to help protect animals like Nathan by
choosing to leave them off our plates. For humane vegan alternatives to meat,
dairy, and eggs, visit ChooseVeg.com.
