MFA Launches New Resources for India and China

Sarah Von Alt March 11, 2015
It is with great excitement that we announce MFA’s new
resources for people interested in adopting a plant-based diet in India and China!
These materials are offered in Hindi and Chinese, with
content specific to India and China, and designed with help from animal
protection groups and volunteers living in or from those areas. In
addition, our Indian ChooseVeg site will be offered to
English speakers in India.

Complete with helpful hints, quick meal ideas, and inspiration, MFA’s
new sites feature all of the tools needed to make the transition to a
healthy and humane plant-based diet.

Visitors to these sites can also order or download a free Vegetarian Starter Guide packed with delicious recipes and loads of
information about helping animals. Just like the sites, these guides are
offered in Chinese and Hindi as well as English for English speakers in India.

You can view the guides here:
Upon signing up for the guides, visitors will receive our vegetarian-eating
email series, featuring several messages of encouragement and everything anyone
needs to know to go and stay vegetarian.

In addition, we’re encouraging people to visit our Hindi– and Chinese-language
factory farming video sites, and of course, our Indian site for English speakers in India.
Visitors will find a powerful 12-minute film that takes them
on an eye-opening exploration behind the closed doors of some of the largest
industrial poultry, pig, dairy, and fish farms, hatcheries, and slaughter
plants, revealing the often unseen journey that animals make from
Farm to Fridge

We’re bringing our vital work for animals to millions of people who might
otherwise never have learned the truth about modern farming and where our food
comes from. These resources will broaden our efforts to open consumers’ hearts
and minds to the plight of farmed animals and empower them to make humane food
choices.
