Change the World (OCW) Society, a new, exclusive group for the next
generation of influential leaders who share one goal: to end factory farming in
our lifetimes. This month, we launched the OCW Society in Los Angeles—a hub of
animal advocacy and plant-based innovation—at an exciting private event, which

Held at the
gorgeous Bardot on June 9, the event drew over 100 animal advocates, including
Shephali and Mohit Jain, Chloe Jory, Mark Joshua, Caroline Love, and Jennifer
Gargiulo, the OCW Society volunteer manager and owner of SFELV. They were
joined by key MFA leadership Jake Morton, vice president of creative; Ari
Solomon, vice president of social impact; Vandhana Bala, senior vice president
of programs and general counsel; and Matt Rice, president.

Food for the party
was prepared by Chef Tara Punzone of Pura Vita. The all-vegan
hors d’oeuvres included grilled crostini with almond ricotta, fig, vegan honey,
and flaky sea salt; stuffed baby potatoes with roasted garlic cashew cheese and
gremolata; mushroom-lentil meatballs; endive cups with fresh vegan feta cheese,
arugula, grilled peaches, and a balsamic reduction; and mini tiramisu cups.

which is composed of CEOs, business owners, startup founders, writers, artists,
and other up-and-coming social influencers, is a community-building,
networking, and idea-expanding opportunity for those invested in farmed animal

are encouraged to use their individual skills, talents, and connections to
