MFA Urges Green Festival Attendees to Eat Green

Nathan Runkle May 20, 2009

Activists with MFA were out in full force this weekend at Chicago’s premiere environmental extravaganza, Green Festival!  We educated the thousands of attendees from the eco-conscious community about the link between animal agriculture and environmental destruction and the benefits of a compassionate and eco-friendly plant-based diet.  At our exhibit we offered free Vegetarian Starter Kits, Compassionate Living magazines, sold MFA T-shirts and showed the ever powerful Meet Your Meat video.

The response was wonderful–we heard encouraging words form long-time vegetarians who thanked us for being there and met new people curious about how they can change their lives to protect both animals and our environment.
