Seven Easy Ways to Help Farmed Animals

Lucas Solowey June 11, 2014

Thank you for your interest in supporting Mercy For Animals Canada and our recent undercover investigation at Chilliwack Cattle Sales, Canada’s largest dairy farm and a major supplier to Saputo-owned Dairyland

Here are some steps that you can take right now to help make a difference for farmed animals abused by the dairy industry
Seven Easy Ways to Help Farmed Animals

  1. Contact your provincial legislative representative, premier, and minister of agriculture about introducing and enforcing animal welfare standards for farmed animals.
Example: I recently witnessed shocking cruelty to dairy cows in footage from a Mercy For Animals Canada undercover investigation at Canada’s largest dairy farm, Chilliwack Cattle Sales. As a consumer, I want you to know that the egregious abuse caught on film is unacceptable. Please create legal standards for farmed animals to protect them from the worst forms of animal abuse and neglect, and also begin to proactively inspect farms for compliance with animal welfare laws. Thank you.
2.   Sign our petition calling on Saputo to stop supporting abuse!

3.   Share our video with your friends on Facebook!

4.   Tweet for cows!

5.   Sign up to become a volunteer
7.   Donate today

Thank you for taking action today.
