The Mercy For Animals Gala: Celebrate 25 Years of Historic Progress for Animals

Thanks to your support, Mercy For Animals is celebrating 25 years of working to create a more just and sustainable food system. That’s why we are excited to invite you to The Mercy For Animals 25th Anniversary Gala on Saturday, April 20, at 5:30 p.m. Pacific! Join us virtually or in person at Rolling Greens in Los Angeles.

Your support of our anniversary gala will help us secure the future success of Mercy For Animals’ critical work, empowering us to help more farmed animals across the United States and around the world. The gala would not be possible without our incredible, generous sponsors and dedicated advocates like you.

We cannot wait to spend the extraordinary evening with you as we recognize our brave investigators, enjoy a star-studded awards show with celebrity entertainment, and connect with an inspiring community of dedicated supporters. Last week, Variety announced our gala honorees in exclusive coverage!

Effervescent entertainer Tabitha Brown will receive the Love & Light Award. She satisfies the hunger of millions with her unique approach to veganism. From sharing new recipes and words of wisdom to enjoying a good laugh, she has become “America’s mom” to her 13 million followers.

Our Hidden Hero awardee, “Ryan,” is a courageous undercover investigator who has faced difficult, heartbreaking conditions to expose factory farming.

Actress, producer, and activist Kate Mara and Oscar- and Emmy-winning writer, director, producer, and comedian Travon Free will be honored with the Community Changemaker Award for their work as executive producers of the documentary The Smell of Money.

We will announce more honorees in the coming weeks!

Celebrate In Person

Join us in person at Rolling Greens in Los Angeles, for an exciting red-carpet evening with celebrities, a one-of-a-kind auction, inspiring honorees, and unforgettable entertainment. Our gala will also include a delectable three-course vegan dinner created by renowned Wolfgang Puck Caterers and countless gourmet vegan delicacies.

Debuting at the gala this year is Night Market: The Future of Food, an innovative experience for plant-based companies to demonstrate and sample their latest food creations that may not be available for mass distribution yet. Inaugural participants this year are Prime Roots, New School Foods, Konscious Foods, Yo Egg, and WunderEggs..
