Transport Torture: Take Action in Minutes Thanks to New MFA Website

Ari Solomon January 9, 2017
It was just a couple of years ago that a Mercy For Animals investigation blew the lid off Canada’s woefully outdated transport regulations.
Watch the undercover video here:
Hidden cameras documented farmed animals who had been transported hundreds of kilometers in sweltering temperatures suffering from heat stress and dehydration. The investigation also exposed the sad reality that farmed animals can be deprived of water, food, and rest for days—nothing less than torture.
A movement has since grown in Canada demanding the transport regulations be changed.
Canadians finally have a chance to let their voices be heard, and we’ve made it so easy to take action! Our new website allows you to contact your government officials and the media to push for better animal transport regulations in just one minute. We’ve already drafted sample letters, so all you have to do is click and send.
Be sure to take action before February 15. Also, go back to the website frequently to take advantage of all the other opportunities it has to offer!
Let’s make 2017 the year we change Canada’s transport laws for good. Go to TransportTorture.ca today and make your voice heard.
Remember, the best step we can take to spare animals from unnecessary suffering at the hands of the meat, egg, and dairy industries is to leave them off our plates.
