VeganMania Takes Over Chicago

Nathan Runkle October 5, 2012

Last weekend, nearly 4,000 festival-goers from Chicagoland and beyond gathered for the fourth annual Chicago VeganMania, celebrating the Windy City’s veggie commerce, community, couture, cuisine, and culture.

CVM4.jpgFestival-goers also enjoyed live music and food demos in the Culture Café, featuring tunes by Miss Chicago, Marisa Buchheit, and a chef demo by internet sensation Vegan Black Metal Chef.

CVM2.jpgVeganMania also featured booths spotlighting loads of vendors and non-profit organizations, including the Mercy For Animals’ educational exhibit, where staff and volunteers talked to the thousands of attendees and distributed pro-vegan literature detailing the benefits of a plant-based diet.
