In a recent interview with Gulf News, actress Mena Suvari shares how going vegan has changed her life.
The actress says that ditching all animal
products has helped her save money and makes her feel good. She says, “I’ve
been vegan for almost 10 months now and I went completely cruelty-free in my
life even with my beauty products and my whole wardrobe.
The actress also shared her enthusiasm for her
lifestyle with Us Weekly. Asked what inspired her
to go vegan, she responded, “You’re
doing a good thing for the environment, you’re doing a good thing for animals
and you’re saving a lot of money.
But Suvari isn’t just one of those celebs on a
fad diet; she’s talking the talk and
walking the walk. The American Woman star
is a die-hard animal rights activist. Just last year, she attended Mercy For Animals’ all-vegan music and food festival,
Circle V.
Suvari joins a long list of celebrities who
advocate a vegan lifestyle. Most recently, singers Drake, will.i.am, and Lauren Jauregui; actresses Edie Falco and Laverne Cox; and This Is Us star Sterling K. Brown announced they’d switched to
a plant-based diet.
From throwing chicks into macerators to tearing baby cows from their mothers, the
factory farming industry routinely abuses animals. What’s worse, this systematic torture is 100 percent legal.
Thankfully, by going vegan you withdraw your
support from this cruel and destructive industry. Ready to get started? Click here
