Jane Velez-Mitchell Shares Vegan Delights From Central Europe

Sarah Von Alt September 16, 2014
Jane Velez-Mitchell, HLN host and author well-known for
being an outspoken animal advocate, is at it again! In a recent feature on CNN,
Velez-Mitchell details her recent trip to Central Europe, and the experience of
being vegan on her travels.
She explains, “Our vegan adventure added so much flavor and
excitement to our trip. It got us off the beaten path and into the nooks and
crannies where real people live. We got a real taste of what life in Central
Europe is really like.
Velez-Mitchell spotlights the unexpectedly wide array of
vegan options throughout their trip, which she discovered with the help of Happy Cow, an app that helps users find
veg-friendly, vegetarian, and vegan restaurants near them.
She’s also ecstatic at having found like-minded,
compassionate people everywhere she went.
