MFA Grills Oprah Over KFC Promotion

Whether fried or grilled, chickens raised and killed for KFC restaurants lead lives filled with pain and suffering. On May 8th, members of Mercy For Animals gather outside Harpo Studios in Chicago to protest Oprah’s promotion of KFC’s grilled chicken, and inform consumers that before reaching KFC buckets, 800 millions chickens are crowded by the tens of thousands into filthy, ammonia-filled sheds, bred and drugged to grow so large and fast that many suffer from leg and heart problems, are violently thrown into crates, then have their throats slit while still alive at the slaughterhouse. 

Compassionate eaters can take a stand against such blatant animal cruelty by boycotting KFC and adopting a healthy and humane vegetarian diet.
